Day 1: Arrival in Sofia

Departure from the airport Paris-Beauvais (8h), direct flight, arrival at the airport of Sofia, assistance to the formalities, transfer to the town of Sofia and the hotel, reception assistance and installation in the hotel. Lunch. Guided tower of the capital Sofia: Alexander Nevski, Church Holy Sofia, Saint-Georges… Visit of the National museum with the exposures of the treasures dating since Neolithic era, the oldest civilization of Europe, of the Traces, the Roman period and the Kingdoms of Bulgaria as well as the second part of the exposure of the World oldest gold. Day 2: Sofia, Rila Monastery, Plovdiv

Day 3: Plovdiv, Kazanlak, Nessebar

Breakfast. Guided visit of the old city and the treasure of the Traces. Lunch. Departure for Kazanlak, visit of the museum of the rose. Guided visit of the tomb of the Traces (site of UNESCO). Departure for Nessebar. Dinner. Installation in the hotel. Walk on the quay of fishers to admire the splendid sightseeing, free time, night in the Royal Palace hotel *** (equivalent or 4 stars).

Day 4: Nessebar, Varna

Breakfast. Guided visit of the old town of Nessebar (UNESCO site) and its Bulgarian and Byzantine churches. Lunch. Departure for Varna. Tour of the maritime capital Varna, meeting with the oldest civilization of Europe and the World oldest gold in the archaeological museum, walking in the Sea garden of the city, admiration of the splendid sightsengs of the beaches, the Sea and the sunset. Installation in the hotel. Dinner, free time, night in the Persey hotel *** (equivalent or 4 stars).

Day 5: Varna, Constanta

Breakfast. Visit of Aladja Monastery. Departure in the direction of Constanta. Lunch in a restaurant. Visit of city of Constanta - the 4th town of Romania. It has the largest seaport and the pleasure industry of the country. It has been attached to Romania in 1877. At the beginning of the 20th century, Constanta has been one of the seaside resorts that was privileged by the rich Europeans. Visit of the centre town of Constanta, the old Tomis, the Archaeological Museum with the Roman mosaic, the statues of the Hellenistic period and the treasure of archaeology. Day 6: Constanta - Bucharest

Day 7: Bucharest - Brasov - Bran - Sinaia

Breakfast at the hotel, departure for Brasov founded by the Saxons in Transylvania at the 13th century, tour of the city and visit of the historical centre, the Council Place, the Church, considered the largest site of veneration in East Europe, the vestiges of the fortifications and the small town “Schei” with its orthodoxe cathedral “St Nicolas” (the 15th century) and the museum of the first Rumanian school. Day 8: Sinaia- Castle Peles - Bucharest – Rousse- Veliko Tarnovo

Departure for Bucharest. Lunch in a restaurant on the way. Border cross at Rousse. A little round tour of centre of the town and continuation towards Veliko Turnovo. Day 9: Veliko Turnovo- Gabrovo

Breakfast. Visit of the capital of the second Kingdom of Bulgaria, the old fortress Tsarevetz (“the hill of the Kings”). Admiration of the splendid sightseeing toward the town. Continuation toward the World Capital of Humor and the Satire located in the mountain Balkan, visit of the corresponding museum as well as the museum of the first school in Bulgaria. Dinner and night in the hotel.

Day 10: Gabrovo-Etara, Sofia

Breakfast. Visit of ethnographic centre Etura in the open air, where one can admire nature and manufactures functioning as in the 18th century. Lunch. Departure for Sofia. Free time in the capital. Installation in the hotel. Dinner. Night in the hotel Rodina ****.

Day 11: Sofia - Paris
