Borovets – one of the most famous Bulgarian ski resorts is situated on the northern slopes of Rila Mountain, at an altitude of 1350 m. It will offer you an amazing vacation among beautiful nature and excellent opportunities for sport activities and amusements.  Fresh and clean air, meadows with herbs and flowers, venerable conifers, numerous lakes, snow-capped mountain peaks – come and enjoy a piece of heaven filled with calmness, romance, and beauty. Summer vacation:

The pleasurable trails in Rila National Park (part of the PAN Parks network, which ensures that you are visiting a park encompassing the best of Europe’s wilderness) among stunning landscapes, leading to beautiful crystal lakes or the highest peak on Balkan Peninsula – Musala, make Borovets one of the best places for summer recreation.

Accommodation:

Alps Style villas:

The villas are surrounded by sunny meadows, volleyball, basketball, football playgrounds and a table tennis, children playground, table games, buggies, situated at calm and peaceful place at the end of Borovetz. The centre of the resort is at about 1.5 km or at a 20 minutes walk. The lovely villas consist of 28 comfort wooden two-storey houses in Alps style, suitable for accommodation of 6 persons: 4 at the second floor, 2 in the living room on the first floor – one the bed and one on the folding sofa. Each villa has own bathroom and kitchen. The possibility for accommodating of more people in two separate sleeping rooms makes our villas a preferred place for vacation of bigger families and groups. The guests of course can rely on the traditional for the villas comfort, seclusion and calmness. The villas are open a year round.
The restaurant is situated nearby the villas. It has 90 seats and offers excellent cuisine and qualitative drinks. Guests with a prepaid board eat here too. A part of the complex is the well-supplied mini shop.

Flight

We can arrange for the flight from different airports to Sofia. According to your location and date of flight additional stay in Sofia may be necessary and the final price may vary slightly (reduction or additional contribution). Book the place and we shall arrange the final details. 

Tourist program:

1 Day. Meet and assist from Sofia International Airport and transfer to Borovets. Accommodation in the villas of the mountain resort, free time and overnight. (Friday or Saturday)

2–6 Day. Breakfast, time for recreation, outdoor activities and sports.

Borovets Adventure Centre provides complete information about the resort, the mountain, the attractions and the services available for you: hiking tours, mountain bike tours, off-road tours, Rope Town Boroland, horseback riding, recreational fishing and more.

If you like hiking and trekking, using the cable lift from the centre of Borovets to Mount Yastrebets, you can reach the highest peak in Balkan Peninsula – Moussala (2925 metres above sea level). The trail will lead you to the beautiful crystal lakes below the mount only for few hours. There are other marking recreational trails in Rila National Park where you can explore the beautiful nature with exceptional wilderness areas of PAN Parks network.  

The ski centres in Borovets offer excellent possibilities for skiing in the winter. Here you can hire suitable ski equipment. There is a bus shuttle for the villas which will facilitate you getting there.

You can also visit the nearest town of Samokov - famous as a centre of handicrafts and art in the past, with the 18th century art school (icons, painting, wood sculptures) with notable figures of revival artists like Zahari Zograf, Hristo Dimitrov and Nikola Obrazopisov. Nowadays there is a valuable holy virgin monastery, medieval church with curative spring in its yard and the lovely fountain – a cultural monument in the centre of the town. Samokov will charm you with its natural beauty and tranquillity, cheap restaurants which offer different types of cuisine and small local cafes and shops.

7 Day. Breakfast in the villas and free time in Borovets. Transfer to Sofia, accommodation in the hotel, free time in the capital and overnight.

8 Day. Transfer for the international flight to Sofia Airport early in the morning.
